Jackson Hole, Wyo.-The public will have an opportunity beginning this week to take a peek at a draft of the future land-use map for the Town of Jackson. The land use map is a key component of the Comprehensive Plan update detailing what kind of development can occur within the town limits of Jackson and where.
From 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, in Town Council chambers, Town Council and Jackson Planning Commission will discuss potential build-out numbers and the future land-use map draft, ahead of floating it to the public during a period of open review and comment. Town Planner Tyler Sinclair said he expects the larger Comp Plan draft that the land-use map will be folded into will be available for public review in early December. Sinclair emphasized the current version of the future land-use map should be interpreted only as a working draft and as such is subject to change before it is officially released to the public. PJH
